The Restaurant

In the heart of Riomaggiore, amidst steep alleys, the open sea, and the scent of the salty sea air, La Lampara di Riomaggiore was born and thrives. A restaurant that's more than just a place to eat, but a family story, a tale that lives on every day.

Our adventure began in 1985, when our parents decided to turn their love of hospitality into a lifelong passion. Since then, we've grown up with them among tables, kitchens, and the voices of our guests: a childhood filled with sizzling dishes, laughter, and dreams taking shape. Today, we, three brothers, carry on this legacy, with respect and vision. Our cuisine is rooted in Ligurian tradition, yet it engages with the present: it's simple, sincere, deeply rooted in the region, yet open to creativity. For us, a restaurant is like a person: it has a soul, a character, and a memory.

And the soul of La Lampara is made of sea, wind, working hands,

of silences interrupted by the sound of the waves.

Our philosophy...

We believe you can choose what type of restaurant you want to be. Simply selling food and wine, or protecting a local area. We chose the latter.

That's why at La Lampara in Riomaggiore, we don't just serve dishes and glasses: we offer an experience, a feeling, a memory. A piece of Liguria to take home with you.

We don't seek excess, but balance. We don't seek wonder for its own sake, but emotion.
